Yet we have created a cartoon version of the history of the area since WWI.

We would not put up with an imbecile claiming that Blacks were happy under Jim Crow. Yet, a naked opportunist like Galloway can claim Jews lived peaceably under Islam. Moreover, claiming oppression was worse elsewhere is not logical.beakerkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06088967209404588378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19492813.post-1522656262149109282008-08-10T21:20:00.000+01:002008-08-10T21:20:00.000+01:00I humbly offer u an award at my blog .I humbly offer u an award at my blog .Bengbenghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17125654531487342492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19492813.post-30488005840980260892008-08-10T19:46:00.000+01:002008-08-10T19:46:00.000+01:00I'd like to find out more about this Sean. On the other hand some muslims did go out of their way to help jews during the war. Several are comemorated as righteous among the nations.

At the time it took place Pagan it could not have affected the outcome of the war one jot. That would make a good movie, the three men wandering the Palestinian countryside, hiding in first one place and another, trying and failing to win support. Probably the reason they failed was that by that late date the Palestinians could plainly see the writing on the wall.SecondComingOfBasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03336586430250490679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19492813.post-67508624959031052612008-08-10T12:26:00.000+01:002008-08-10T12:26:00.000+01:00Very interesting find!Very interesting find!CherryPiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11788084724907992076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19492813.post-38919034802888788432008-08-10T12:23:00.000+01:002008-08-10T12:23:00.000+01:00Very interesting post. And don't forget the pro Nazi Nasser (connections with Odessa)and Sadat (gaoled for pro-Nazi links in WW2) in Egypt and how the founders of the Ba'ath Party were inspired by the Nazi Party.
David Pryce-Jones wrote "In Islamic society so far, institutions instead concentrate power in the hands of whoever can seize and hold it." Very similar to the Nazi way of doing things.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06358349301959327747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19492813.post-61121933252049631502008-08-10T12:07:00.000+01:002008-08-10T12:07:00.000+01:00What a fascinating piece of history!
