The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
"Mildly" annoyed? Well, OK, jams, you have given us pictures of Robyn without the qualifying adverb, and I agree that Robyn can look even fiercer than this. But his expression in this pic will do the job, don't you think!
It seems someone has given the poor cat a jolt of ststic electricity. I bet if you brushed Robyn you could probably light your flat for an hour.

Ah freelance, Robyn is named after our favourite musician, Robyn Hitchcock (Ted is named for Father Ted!)

ReplyDelete99.9% of the time he is a gentle and placid cat. It is rare for him to get the arse!
ReplyDeleteRobyn has a "tigerish" look about him, possibly because of the shape of his eyes and mouth.
ReplyDeleteIt also helps that he is a pretty big fellow too! In reality he is rather timid around strangers but when he gets to know you he's a big gentle lump!
