The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
It's bloody marvellous isn't it Paulie. Steve Earle is a bit inconsistent but when he is on form he is on fire! I'm not a huge country fan but expect some Boxcar Willie soon (there is a reason for this)
