The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I can't grow flowers here in Arizona because I forget to water them. I'm jealous! I can manage a few wild daisies and marigolds and that is about it. But the blooming cacti are awesome.
