Photo Hunt - Fresh
The theme for the week's Photo Hunt is Fresh. These are oranges at a local fruit stall. They were actually fresh - photographs can deveive
At first I thought that these were specimens lined up on a tray in a science lab! But I guess that could be anything but fresh! (Well maybe kinda fresh!) But the more I look, I see the orange texture! Your photo is a great discussion point!
At first glance I thought they were jewelled rings in a velvet display box. I like this very much and love how everyone sees something different until reading that they are oranges.
Gah! Photos can definitely deceive! These look like those microscope pics of germs, definitely not like tasty oranges! Thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I can tell they are oranges but I'm not sure if I would have been able to if you hadn't told me. It's an artsy shot, for sure.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to say that Bebe is just as beautiful as Garbo!
You can't get anything tastier than fresh, chilled oranges.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have guessed these are oranges.
ReplyDeleteFresh way to process an image.
That pic really reminds me of the space invaders game LOL
ReplyDeleteOranges? Really?! You could have fooled me!
ReplyDeleteI thought they were fresh snails before I read the text. Cool effect.
ReplyDeleteWell you had me confused as I tried to figure out what they were. Have you be photoshopping again?

ReplyDeleteLOL i'm thinking of molds! hahaha
ReplyDeleteA fresh (novel) take on what's an ordinary sight for you? ;b
ReplyDeleteJams, the roll goes on!
ReplyDeleteGreat.
The more great photos you put up the more extreme (or useless) mine become!
Keep going. I look forward every day to being surprised by another brill pic.
Oranges? now that you mentioned it, yes: I see them. I just had a glass of fresh OJ :)

ReplyDeletenow that is a very interesting photo..I am glad you told me what they were as I would never have guessed....great take on the theme
ReplyDeleteWhat a shot. I could tell they were oranges, but couldn't see the freshness have you not told me.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
What a curious photo! No, they do not look fresh in black & white!
ReplyDeleteI played, too! Have a blessed weekend.
Alien pods....all of them. You're being invaded. It's about time!

ReplyDeleteI agree with Sue :D I like what you did to the photo though :)

ReplyDeleteYes they clearly can, as yours has done ;). Certainly a FRESH look at this week's theme. If you want to get FRESH with me this week check mine here.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Might have guessed blueberries but not oranges. Great take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! They look like sea urchins.
ReplyDeleteAnd I accidentally clicked "puerile", but it's not! Stupid mouse!
Thanks everyone! No worries Knatolee. I chose asinine, prolix and puerile for amusement. Beats seeing great, awesome and Coawbloodybungs!
