The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
This brings good memories of my long ago twin cats: Double and Trouble. They would play for hours with a suspended string and an empty basket. Sometimes (alas!) they played with some of my good stuff. They scratched a lot of my music sheets, ran around a lamp till it would fall and brake, ate the dried flowers of my new straw Easter Bonnet. And more! Why do I miss them? Life was NEVER boring when they were around. They would push me to my limits, and then would climb on my laps with a Am-I-not-adorable-look? They were!
Hope you get a chocolate rabbit for Easter. All the best to the whole family.
