The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Ah look... Now he's nicked her nail varnish so she has to hide her unpainted nails in her pocket. She is so forgiving of that selfish lad (though the cheeky smile does prompt forgiveness - the cad).
