The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
A wonderful display of plant-life, noticed in what most would dimiss as a scruffy little nuisance patch of weeds. Very nice picture.

Lovely. There was a lot of (pink) herb robert growing where I grew up, but I don't think I ever saw it so white.
We hadn't seen a white variety either before
