The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Has he got a cataract in one eye? The mistiness looks like that of a dog I once knew with cataracts. Does he still see enough? To spot cheese, for example :)
