The problem with IR filters is that they are pretty well opaque so I couldn't see what the hell I was photographing. This was a lucky shot - perhaps it's to buy a tripod and if I want to do these sort of photos properly.

I keep thinking about you hunting and stalking your photograph prey in a militaristic manner. Infrared? Whoaaaaaa. Did you wear a camouflage beret too?

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I just bought a D70 because it was recommended and cost less than I thought. I was hoping to do some IR fotos too and have order a hoya filter. There are some good tutorials on the web about improving your results - which are pretty good anyway :-) Post more images if you have the time.

Nice camera is is too. I got the D50 vecause it was on a good offer. It suits my needs quite nicely.
