The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Photo Hunt - Shiny
Shiny is the theme of this week's Photo Hunt. How more obvious than a shiny penny (and the Queen with x-ray eyes?). Alternatively here's a pair of the not-wife's Dichroic ear rings.
