The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Sempervivum in flower and in bud - Wordless Wednesday
Fab pics yet again jams but I've changed the caption to my post as I think every one missed the point. This isn't my little sister (as I haven't got one!) but my daughter sitting on top of my uncle's Narrow Boat & it's HER little sister pulling a face b behind her . . . lol
I had a house leak once. The landlord never really managed to fix it, and I finally had to move out. What's that? Leek? Oh. Well, that's completely different. <emily_litella_voice> Never mind! </emily_litella_voice>
These are lovely! But I kind of miss the insects. Happy WW!
