The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Dryads
As seen on Black Poplars in the Chase Nature Reserve betwen Hornchurch and Dagenham
very cool photos. I love being able to spot likenesses of things in nature.... excluding, of course, the images of Jesus in potatoes or ham sandwiches etc. :)
Seriously, any tree comes to life movies scare the crap out of me. That even includes the Mother Tree character in the animated Disney film, Pocohontas.
