The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Mission of Burma - That's When I reach for My Revolver
I love this song. MoB deserved a lot more success than they got.
They were never that well known in the UK. It's was only after they split up that they were championed. It was a Moby cover of this song which pointed me their way in the first place Dragonstar
A great song. On of MoB best.
