  4. These are wonderful, Jams. I never got close enough to young Canada geese to see the coloration on their heads. Thanks for these.

  15. At my workplace we have a Pond and there 4 Geese families that we know of, we watch their babies every day. Great pictures! Have a good WW.

  25. They look just ducky! Happy WW/WT!

    Those guys' cousins were in our back yard yesterday, eating the worms from the little river made by the rains.
    It wasn't deep enough for them to swim, mostly they stayed on the banks and stuck their beaks in the water.
    There was no sleeping or cuddling either.

  47. Cute Overload!

    We have a local airport with a surrounding pond where people go and feed the ducks, swans, and geese. The little airport restaurant suspiciously enough features cooked goose, and roasted duck as their specials pretty often.

    Canada Geese are evil. Every NYC resident has a desire to cook one because they make a mess of our parks.

    Oddly for some reason you will never see Turkeys and Canada Geese in the same area. The Turkeys drive them out
    and are not as messy.
