Photo Hunt - string
The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is string. Sadly I used my best string shots in a photo hunt fairly recently so here's a pair of morning glories. The string is blurred in the background suporting the plant.
One of my favourites indeed! Although I think I prefer the Alba if pushed.
[The white one has bigger blooms, but more importantly the leaves are very dark green and glossy which makes a superb back drop. Also the flowers open at night, they almost seem to glow as they're propagated by moths]
How come there are two different colours there? Same plant or are there two plants from different seeds? Nice string Jams. Mine will be up in half a hour or so, still getting my act together.
I love the photo - and the red flower - so far I'd only seen blue/violet morning glories. (Plus those I've seen don't need any string at all - they seem to cling to anything effortlessly...) Have a great weekend Jams!
Wow! You sure have nice flowers over there. I love the different colors of the morning glory :)
