  3. My guess: Overhead shot of a woman at the shore, just at the edge of the waterline. Looks like maybe she got caught by a wave she wasn't expecting to come up so high.

  4. This is really neat! It looks like a blown up newspaper photo, where you get all those rough pixels. Hmm... wonder what the headlines would be to accompany this photo???

    Well done!!

I can see a woman walking on the sand. Am I right?

Happy WW and thanks for visiting :)

  7. It's a still from the very eerie and brilliant 60s horror film Carnival of Souls, I believe. It's well worth a look if your taste runs to unusual and atmospheric horror cinema.

  8. That's so interesting. At first I thought it was a photograph of someone on the beach and then I realized it was canvas.

I thought it was something creepy, but when I looked really close, it's a girl on a shore.

Looks like an old woman on a snow-covered ground to me but of course, I read your explanation :)

  20. That's a beautiful print, it has both the apocalyptic qualities but also a serenity to it. And the grainy texture adds to both effects.

it's not technically part of WW, but you might like the Dystopia photo exhibit I reviewed this weekend.

  23. Yes, very 'odd', and yet... there is a certain 'something' about it. Very interesting, Jams.

  24. Is that a special exposition ? I only see an old woman, I am not even sure it's a painting. Anyway nothing for my living room, lol !

BTW Kim hadn't her hair cut (poor thing) but brushed ! All this fur laying on the floor came out by brushing ! She never lets me do it myself. She is very shy.

  25. For some reason that picture brings to mind the horror movie The Ring. Would love to see it in person.

  26. I'm guessing she's walking at the edge of the water, but it sure looks as if she's floating.

    Very cool.

  30. I like how the wave seems to be going uphill. Rather disorienting.

Very haunting. Looks like a terrible scene from a war zone.
