The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Upminster Windmill
his is the Upminster Windmill as it looked before planned renovation. Once this damned cast is off and I am mobile I will definitely go and see how it looks now.
& take a photo for us for comparison?

Hope it's sympathetic work. I took a trip around the windmill once - the stairs are terror inducing!
