The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is triangle. Again I don't have a lot that fits in wth the theme. This is the nearest I can get. Can anyone guess what it is?
My cast means that I still can't spend too much time at the pc so please bear with me. Hopefully this will be the last weekend I wear the damned thing!
Stunning shot for triangle Jams!
ReplyDeleteIt is a close up of a flower but I can't decide which one.. orchid or daffodil?
Mine is up too!
Have a great easter :)
Anna
I'm thinking orchid or lily but I'm not sure. Cool photo! And I'm glad it won't be too much longer with the cast. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking an orchid??? Great shot.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful shot. I'm thinking a flower but not sure which one. Great idea for triangle. I'm glad your cast won't be on too much longer. Take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteLike your triangle shot... is it a ceiling lamp??
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous photo!
ReplyDeleteNice catch for the theme.
Have a great Easter.
PS. I love your photo of the Geranium versicolor, which I have never seen before. It´s now on my Wish-list!
nice one jams, i think it is a flower just after the bud opens.
ReplyDeleteDon't know but it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit like a trilium but do you have them there? So I guess it's an orchid of some type.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you Jams.
THanks everyone. It is a flower but it's not an orchid, a daffodil or a trillium. The shot has been tinkered with.. If I had taken a colour photo then it would be a lot eassier to identify
ReplyDeleteA plane propellor?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with getting out of the cast. You will have to learn to walk again. Hard work.
Take care.
It is gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't guess, since the ones I had were wrong..
Thanks.. Ach Colin, the specialist reckons it'll be a while before I can return to work and three months before my leg is close to normal
ReplyDeleteVery uniquely interpreted Jams. Love your flower shot. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!

I agree, it's some kind of orchid. Hope your leg heals soon, I know it can be frustrating.
ReplyDeleteYour leg should b healing soon. Been some time. Hope you have been careful not to aggravate yr injury.
ReplyDeletemmm looks like an orchid... or a very dainty set of aeroplane propellers hehe
ReplyDeletefeel better soon! =]
Is that a flower?
ReplyDeleteHope you get better soon. Happy Easter.
I was going to say a ceiling fan or orchid... but since neither of those seems to be right, I have no clue.
ReplyDeleteI've got mine up now, too - another angle, if you will - do stop by if you can, and have a great weekend!
That is a stunning image!
ReplyDeleteI think most of us are guessing it's a flower -- but since I, for one, am not a flower specialist, can't get more precise than that! ;S
ReplyDeletebeautiful shot. :) love the black and white.
ReplyDeletehappy weekend!
Nice, strong mono - haven't a clue what though.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are right about the cast.
The first thing I thought of was a flower - could be an orchid?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're still bound up in a cast. What an annoyance!
My shot is kind of wild and I think you'll enjoy it. It surprised me, for sure...
Have a blessed Easter, Jams!
I am not sure that this is. It looks like there is a nail in the middle. But I love it :-)
ReplyDeleteI didn't thing of my fan. I have a neat tringle fan :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sur it is a flower but the species escapes me :)
ReplyDeletelove the black and white.
ReplyDeletei guess this is a ceiling fan. :)
Happy Easter! :)
Thanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is it's a flower..and a very beautiful flower too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Weekend Jams!:)
Happy Easter Jams, hope you feel better when the cast comes off.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
Bet you can't wait to be rid of the cast!
ReplyDeleteLovely part of a flower...but I have NO idea which one. ;-)
...an orchid? Fascinating photo!
ReplyDeleteHow long now before the cast of yours is removed? I bet you're getting quite anxious to have it gone for good, right?
My photo is posted. It's an all time favorite photo I scanned from years ago...there's just GOTTA be a triangle in there somewhere. I had to post it....goes with the holiday weekend too well, to not post it. Come on over...have a glorious, peaceful weekend my photo hunting friend!!!!!
Is this a stamen of a flower? Nice take
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that's a stunning photo!

ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOrchid is my guess! Great idea for today! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteits an orchid!! or an iris :)
ReplyDeletewonderful shot!!
Photohunt : Triangles
Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThis is a magnificent shot. I love the clean lines and the black and white makes it much more defined. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I appreciate you stopping by my place today.
Happy Easter to you as well.
Tisha
Great photohunt.. you have us stumped.
ReplyDeleteI thought a daffodil, but maybe a paperwhite?
Can't figure it out! Good luck with that leg...been there/done that...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like and orchid that is a tiger lilly. Happy weekend. Mine is up also.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't guess the type of flower but I love the black and white photo... thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteIs it a flower?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :)
I played too :)
Looks like an orchid. I like the black and white effect of it:) Stunning!
ReplyDeleteI can tell it's some sort of flower, but it looks like it could be a propeller!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool shot for the theme. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it's a macro of the center of some kind of flower, though I wouldn't have a clue what kind.
ReplyDeleteMy question is how did you light this? It's magnificent!
I was wondering if this could be chrysanthemum petals with the rest blackened out.
ReplyDeleteClvere photo for the theme.
Thanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteSimple yet very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell, I thought it was a ceiling fan or a motor for something. Whatever it is, it's pretty!
ReplyDeleteStunning shot! It's obviously the centre of a flower, but I can't decide which. My personal choice lies with a very common flower, rather than anything exotic - I'll just have to wait and see.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be so glad to be out of that cast!
Parts of a flower?
ReplyDeleteHugs on the cast.
Hope you recover quickly!
ReplyDeleteHmm.. so many flowers have triangles. Pansy? Trillium? Snowdrop? A stem of lilies?
I hope you have a chance to see mine.

Have a great weekend. He is risen!
The centre of a flower possible a stamen.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful shot expressing three points.
ReplyDeleteVery creative shot. My first thought also was a flower but have no idea what kind.
ReplyDeleteLove your take on this weeks theme. Great photo too! I'm guessing it's a part of a flower.
ReplyDeleteI found it hard to find triangles in my house this week but I did finally find some.
Mine's up and ready...come on over!
How clever is that! Nice tri-angle!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my site:

It's some kind of plant -- an orchid, maybe?
ReplyDeleteIt is a good one for the theme, I am not sure what sort of flower it is though.
ReplyDeleteMy guess, an Iris!
I must be daft but I think it's an elegant ceiling light.
ReplyDeleteWell, for someone who didn't have a lot that fits in with the theme, you sure came up with a winning shot. It looks like the center of some sort of flower to me.
