WW - Tree Paeony flower in decline
Sunlight on a bloom in decline. The bloom is from our species tree paeony - Paeonia lutea var. ludlowii. This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of Wordless Wednesday.
I don't think I've ever seen these, Jams. So beautiful, even in decline.
I am having to apologize to everyone who visits my blog today looking for my WW post. When I signed in on Wordless Wednesday, I thought today was Wednesday! I pre-schedule my posts in advance, so mine will be up tomorrow. Unless I did that wrong, too! :-D
It retains its beauty even in this state. I love the golden color of this flower. It's a good thing you have shots of this flower in bloom. For good memories.
It's so beautiful with spring flowers. I've been to Romford actually Gidea Park a month in my teens. It was a language trip and I lived with a friend in a house with a very nice lady.
Beautiful yellow flower! I was going to post my hibiscus flower but went with some ocean and sky shots over at http://upcountrysmiles.com. Come & Visit!
It is a pretty flower even in its state :)
