The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

WW - A heart full of leaves
A deatail from a tomb in the Pere Lachaise cemetery. This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of Wordless Wednesday.
Reminds me when I was there, even twice. Very special cemetary ! Have you seen Jim Morrison's grave ? Now it's protected 20 years ago there were junkies sitting all around and the grave was full with spoons, seringhes etc. Just terrible !
They use bright colours, it's unusual.
ReplyDeleteWe would use mourning colours like black and white.
Fascenating! Very beautiful.
