The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Ah my mistake Jmb I had been reading about the Real and Continuity IRA (and their "political" mouthpieces) for a possible future post and I had the name McKevitt on my mind!
One of my favourites too. McKevitt, is the title an in joke I know nothing about? Confused, as usual.
