WW- Crab spiders
Crab spiders on our Cephalaria. This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of Wordless Wednesday.
Thanks everyone. The crab sipider is pretty common in England and across Europe too(I think). As it's an ambus spider you don't see a web/ As it is very small and hides in flowers they are easliy missed
Really interesting photography.
ReplyDeleteSaturday in downtown Minneapolis, was a good vigil, organized by local Iranians. They were hardly the reactionaries, some as Gallaway may think.
So interesting creature. Wonder what does it prey on?
ReplyDeleteThanks Ren. Glad to know that the vigils and protests continue
ReplyDeleteThanks Dora, they are ambush predators that wait for insects to land on the flowers
The creamy crab :)
ReplyDeleteThankfully I am not frightened of spiders, great photos.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how it tasted in bisque,
