The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is Average. I had no idea what to post so here's a very average mountain in Ireland. It;s not that average I suppose. It's called the Paps. Some humorous stone age builders put cairns on the top of each peak so as to make the biggest pair of boobs in the British isles!

The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is Average. I had no idea what to post so here's a very average mountain in Ireland. It;s not that average I suppose. It's called the Paps. Some humorous stone age builders put cairns on the top of each peak so as to make the biggest pair of boobs in the British isles!
Now that's a take I've never expected. Great job.

ReplyDeleteI liked the mountain in the south west of Ireland with a bicycle on a post at the top. We trudged up in the mist and rain and there it was. Nice shot and yes it does suggest what you say.

Great take on "average". We have a lot of hills like that with natural cairns on top. The local indigenees call them "Titty Hills".

That's what I thought so too a boobs. And I saw many mountains that sometimes it looks like a lady lying down, just amazes me. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteThese would definitely be considered average if you compare them to the Tetons in Wyoming where I'm told the name of the mountains comes from a similar idea.
