The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Quite a window! There is a fundamental difference between an artist like you, Jams, and a down-to-earth person like me. After the first discovery of a dirty window, I wouldn't repeat the artwork. Instead, I would bring a wet soapy rag, whenever I travel, so I can look outside.
You have far more interesting views throught your train windows than I do.
