Psychic show cancelled due to unforseen circumstances
I know it is a cliche but it still amused me to see this on the Plymouth Herald website.
The show in question was the stage version of the shite cable/satellite tv show "Most Haunted"
I love it. I met a "psychic" girl at a student party in a previous century and she told me I would die from old age. Awesome. She was a bit pissed I suppose. She also read my Tarot cards and told me I'd fall in love with a wee fair haired girl... and she was... a wee fair haired girl... I was flattered, but unconvinced. That was about a year before I fell in love with my not too wee dark-haired girl; but I am approaching old age...
when I was pregnant, a very drunk "psychic" said she could predict the sex of my unborn child by laying her hands on my belly.
She was so pissed I think she forgot what she was doing and after an interminable length of time I asked her what the outcome was going to be. She stared off into the distance and then gravely pronounced "you're going to have a boy...... or maybe a girl"
Well thanks, coz I was terribly worried I was about to give birth to something quite different like, I dunno, a transgendered giraffe or something
Maybe they were foreseen and that's why it was cancelled.

Well Andrew she was right about you meeting a girl so chalk that one up to the psychics!

It's not for nothing that "psycho" and "psychic" are so similar...
