The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

A song fron 2005. I do not know how I missed the news of her death on 1 January at the age of just 37.

Jams, I'd never heard (of) her. I have now but so sad that such talent is taken so young.
