Photo Hunt - Numerical

The theme for the week's Photo Hunt is numerical.I had no idea what to put up for this theme so I had to strewth (as I imagine many will this week!) Today I tried out my new macro lens on another Toadflax brocade moth caterpillar (we had them first a couple of months ago and saw a moth last month).. well there was one of them and it looks a little like a number one....

  3. and i was thinking also that the metamorphosis from caterpillar to eventual butterfly is a step by step process, a numerical sequence of sorts, so this week's entry of yours is quite on the money too =]

    and speaking of money...

  7. Thanks. It was the first uce of a new macro lens. The old one was excellent but focussing was slow and the lens extended which caused problems with some subjects

  11. Hi Jams --

You're not alone in being this creative... In particular, a few months ago here in Hong Kong, there was a photography exhibition with plenty of photos on that theme (of seeing numerals in nature and such)! ;b

  33. Did you try to count the number of yellow stripes? Right now, in school we have monarch caterpillera. I wonder if I should get the kids to count the stripes since they are learning to count 100.
