The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Fascinating image, Jams. There seems to be a flower, and its shadow, but beyond that it's all mystery! (And I might be wrong about the flower.) Bit of an accidental skull below & left of centre, too, which is entirely appropriate for the time of year.
