The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Photo hunt - stripes
he theme for the week's Photo Hunt is stripes. Here is a stretch on the theme. The photo was taken two years ago in Kerry in Ireland. If not quite striped the land is striated.
It reminds me of those sweaters with three or four shades of a color in layers, not quite stripes as the distinction between colors is not sharp; they just blend together.
