The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Oh bugger even firebathing is no respite from that bloody camera
Poor little Bebehas it hard. But she can best the boys in some ways - like keeping them outside by blocking the cat flap. She loves to do that to Ted and to Boris

It looks like you went down on the floor to get that shot, something I wouldn't have attempted as it is too hard to get back up.
