The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Sweary Parrot time
Ruby my favourite swearing parrot. Warning this parrot really knows how to swear!
Being pretty puerile in outlook I still consider swearing to be both big and clever
My knee now aches like a bugger rather than a bastard...
Is this a Norwegian Blue? "This parrot is no more. It has ceased to be ..."
