Photo Hunt - Still Life With Jaundice

The theme for the week's Photo Hunt is self portrait. Personally I hate to be photographed which is why I tend to live on the other side of the lens inflicting photos on other people

.As a result there are relatively few photos of me. This is a version of the one on my Facebook page

  1. You do look a little green around the gills, as they say! ;-) Seriously, it's an intense self-portrait.

I am most unnatural when I know I'm being photographed.

That is an awesome photo (although it may give me nightmares - you look as if there may be evil deeds on your mind. I do hope I have never annoyed you).

  10. Hi jams, I was wondering whether to participate in this week's Photo Hunt since I share your dislike of being photographed. But after seeing your entry, was inspired to do so.

And it should almost go without saying but I'll say it anyway: hope you are fully recovered from your bout with jaundice!

  14. A great photo! I think you look more "sepia" than "jaundiced", unless you are referring to your view on life...

I haven't posted in a few weeks. Life got in the way.

  16. It's an excellent photo Jams. Yes, I'm back, with Moggs and me both doing Photo Hunt this week. Time for me to get off my duff and blog a little and a portrait of me, well how could I resist. No, not current, never fear.

I'm with you - far happier behind the lens rather than in front of it.

You are more brave than I. *smile*

    Have a super weekend.

  22. I love how the portrait focuses less on the whole face and rather on the expression it generates. Quite dramatic and intense!

  23. You look different from what I imagine you to be. :P

Wonder if you will meet a blogger from Singapore if I go to the UK for holiday next year?
