The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

This is lovely. That's the only dance I can do decently. And, on the piano, I love to play les Valses de Strauss et Chopin. ONE...two...three...ONE...two...three...ONE...two...three. You really get carried away by Le Danube Bleu et La Valse en la bémol pour M'lle. Marie Wodzinska.
