The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

The cakes are this way daddy
Although I hoped to largely avoid the wedding on Friday there was a street party where my sister lives.

ReplyDeleteToo bad about the flag on his little chest - I don't like the flaunting of ANY nationality as I see that kind of patriotism as a seed of racism.
He was passing my sister's front yard with his father. I am indifferent to national flags. They don't fill me with either pride or the opposite.
