The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
The lad does demonstrate why the color on the coat charts for cats is called red and not orange. I've only known one other cat that had that deep color.
But then, Boris is rather unique, even in his choice of friends.
