The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
The theme for this week's photo hunt is drink. For once I won't be stretching the theme so far as to snap it. Here is Shirley (The not-wife) enjoying a nice cup of tea...
I'm making a cup of tea right now to enjoy it with Shirley. Thank you for the inspiration. I don't do this often enough. I don't know why I always fix a mug of coffee instead of lovely tea in my nice English China.
Seems I'm the only one who can figure out what's really happening as you try to mend fences... The eyes are looking at a cat and a plan is forming, hence the flicker of a smile behind the mug...
