The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I think that might work better with a 56 year old bald man for the lass to recline against, and I'm sure she'll agree. I'm on my way.
