The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
That's what worries me... Has Ted had a go down there?
The patterned pants worry me too. Actually the whole damn scene worries me, and I have to get to sleep tonight... perchance to dream, of things I wish I'd never seen...
Pleasant dreams Andrew! I can assure you that Ted has not stropped his claws on my nether parts. As for patterns this pair is mild. I have a taste for loud socks and underwear... Same goes for ties but I don't get to wear them these days

3.34 am. Couldn't sleep.
None of us looks like anything a camera can show, given that what we really are seems to be electrochemical patterns swirling around a brain. You will have lovely patterns there Jams, if only we could see.
But inside in your inner chemical swirlings, of course, you are Shaun of the Head (ha ha), not the exterior clothing that is Jams. It's a funny old double life you have now that you have come out as the real Shaun. What should we call you now? Hmmm... Come to think of it I'll discuss this sort of identity muddle with Don QuiScottie :)

My real name has not been a secret for a long time. Most regular bloggers knew who that and when I started putting copyright notices on photos I couldn't give copyright to jams, dear as he is to my heart!
