The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I am thinking two things:1) He seems to be getting a bit fed up with you taking his photo2) The trousers seem a bit tight in the nether regions
