The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

A great singer who was taken from the world far too young
I bought her self titles album after you posted one of her songs a year or so ago. She was fabulous. At least her beautiful voice lives on
