The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Interesting. I think I know at a glance he would be fun to have a pint with (preferably beer, and if you tell me he prefers milk I'd be surprised).
Definitley beer and he is good company over a chummy libation or eight!
