The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

And I opened the door afterwards to let it fly away so not so poor after all!
This is the season for moths. The students found two beautiful luna moths and one large hairy-bodied one this week. :-)
It certainly is. Just a bit hard to get a decent pic!
