The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Ah I can thank a superb macro lens and near top of the range camera (well it was 2 years ago it's replacement, the Nikon D800 is meant to be a far better)
