The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Fox and Cubs
Pilosella Aurntiaca, known comonly as Fox and Cubs. This is a garden escape plant that has become a weed in the UK and the US. Quite an attractive weed Though!
