The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Old Cat looks very guilty there. Did he jumble the books?
They are a great combination but not when you try to read and the cat wants attention, Syncy!Ah he's not to blame for that umble Claude!
