The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I do hope my artistic brother doesn't creep up on me while I'm sleeping like that and draw such a painting. Mind you, it would make a lovely pair (of paintings).
