6,000th Post!

And herewith the 6,000th post on the crap fest I humbly call The Poor Mouth

Although she has been dead for nearly four years now Mimi's ghost remains astonished that I have managed to churn out so much rubbish over the past seven years (or seven years come April anyway)

I would like to commend my little band of readers for their patience and tenacity. I hope to be celebrating my 10000th post in several year's time

  3. Congratulations from me too. May all the rest, 10,000 and more, be as good as all the rest.

Mimi looks to have been very sweet.

  10. I never cease to be amazed by your interesting posts, and by the artistry of your photos. I wasn't there at the beginning (although I admit peeking into your past). I doubt I'll be here till the 10,000 post. But as long as I'm breathing, I'm coming. It's my daily cerebral exercise, and the proof that the world can be often ridiculous, out of joint and maybe cruel, but common sense and beauty can prevail, and friendship can blossom.

Santé, mon ami, merci et félicitations!

  12. Sergeant Pluck might ask how many percent blog you have become; I do just congratulate. Great to have met you in the vast blogosphere, Jams; and through you others.
All the best, friend. Good health, and lots of love and inspiration.

  13. Mimi was my favorite and not just because she was a 'blue'. She so everything as new and exciting, especially cheese.

6,000 is a worthy accomplishment and Mimi would have certainly been astonished by it, although we both know she was astonished that the sun came up in the morning.
