The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Do they actually have any occupants for these fancy new towers they are building, like the Shard? I am wondering if they may end up as monuments to decline.

Thanks Don I'm not sure but then Canary Wharf was in the same situation when it was built.Give it a few years and it will be full
