The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

A new Ted Arrives on Wednesday
We hadn't planned on getting a new cat until after Robyn dies but a cat that looks rather like Ted needs a home so he will be with us on Wednesday.
